Hosea 13:14-16

¹⁴ Shall I ^(A)ransom them from the ^[a]power of Sheol?
Shall I redeem them from death?
^(B)Death, where are your ^[b]thorns?
Sheol, where is your sting?
^(C)Compassion will be hidden from My sight.

¹⁵ Though he ^(D)flourishes among the ^[c]reeds,
An ^(E)east wind will come,
The wind of the Lord coming up from the wilderness;
And his fountain will ^(F)become dry
And his spring will dry up;
It will ^(G)plunder his treasury of every precious article.
^16 [d]Samaria will pay the penalty for her ^(H)guilt,
Because she has ^(I)rebelled against her God.
^(J)They will fall by the ^(K)sword,
Their children will be ^[e](L)slaughtered,
And their pregnant ^(M)women will be ripped open.
